Why do I want to be governor? The reason that I want to be governor is to return California to the business-friendly state that it once was. All things that are important to Californians depend on prosperity for people and companies who pay the taxes to maintain our infrastructure, which in turn depends on a thriving manufacturing sector.

My top 3 priorities as governor:
1. Assist California manufacturers who find their products not competitive with those produced in countries with ultra-low wages and almost no regard for worker safety and environmental protection.
2. Initiate a major overhaul of workers compensation.
3. Make a coherent energy policy encouraging distributed generation from ultra-clean sources like solar, wind, geothermal, and fuel cells to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.
