Candidate Statement

Several weeks ago, Congressman Darryl Issa bought an election. The timing of this special election was based upon the Congressman's personal desire to retain his Congressional seat. This recall, timed to coordinate with one man's personal schedule is costing the taxpayers of the State of California nearly $70 million dollars, and has sent the once Great State of California into a political and economic tailspin. We, the candidates of the ButtMonkey Beer Party felt this was a horrible, cynical abuse of the process created by the Progressives early last century.

Congressman Issa created a circus packed full of personalities that can only be found in the State of California. As a member of the ButtMonkey Beer Party, it was my duty to join this circus, giving myself a platform to rail against the foolishness of this process.

As a member of the ButtMonkey Beer Party, I represent hundreds of thousands # maybe millions # of disenfranchised, alienated citizens who look at the overwhelming deficit and the lack of leadership in every area of state government, and throw their hands up in the air in disgust and say "It's hopeless". We represent that silent majority because we too believe that with this current batch of leaders the situation is indeed hopeless.

If you are looking for a candidate with the vision to tackle our immense problems, with the leadership to rally our state behind one cause, a leader who can bring the state back from the precipice of bankruptcy toward the greatness of yesteryears, then for the love of God, don't vote for me.

But if you find yourself in the voting booth on Tuesday, October 7th, and you have no idea how you got there, I may be your man.
