PRESERVE CLAREMONT VALUES:

Sustain Claremont as a safe haven for all residents. Maintain Claremont as an ideal place to raise a family with good schools, parks, sports, youth and family programs. Enhance the quality of life through healthy neighborhoods, community activities and senior programs. Claremont must be a welcoming place for all residents with diverse backgrounds and viewpoints connected to the larger community. Finally, promote an social environment which fosters mutual respect and participation in civic life.

IMPLEMENT GOOD GOVERNMENT:

Involve Citizen in setting public meeting agendas; frequent citizen in-progress review of city projects. Open up the selection process of city commission appointments.

CHANGE THE CLAREMONT CITY GOVERNMENT CULTURE:

Focus on satisfaction of all citizens. Encourage City staff to work with citizens in establishing long range plans, goals, objectives and implementation plans in improving citizen satisfaction.

PROVIDE FINANCIAL STRENGTH:

Apply a business-like approach to the Claremont fiscal decision-making process.
