Rob's principal goals are:

  • Planned development to accommodate a dramatic increase in population, with concerns for ecology, the environment, pollution, recreational and health facilities.

  • Strong Neighborhood Councils with real power over local planning decisions.

  • More police on patrol in Valley neighborhoods.

  • The CLOSING of the Sunshine Canyon Landfill.

  • Preventing the massive development of the Las Lomas wilderness just north of our neighborhoods.

  • Expanding the city's recycling program to include curbside recycling for businesses, houses and apartments. To expand the use of recycled products in all city departments, programs and facilities.

  • Maintaining the Chatsworth Reservoir area in its present state. Strongly opposing any proposal for development.

  • Preserving and increasing horse and hiking trails.

  • Revitalizing the Los Angeles River.

  • Creating more parks, large and neighborhood pocket parks, as well as community gardens.
