Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Don Szerlip

Candidate for
Council Member, Council; City of Redondo Beach; District 3

This information is provided by the candidate

My priorities are:

Reduce Traffic and Control Development: We must balance the need for development with our right to enjoy the peaceful residential neighborhoods we have made our home. I'll fight to preserve vital open space and protect us from out-of-character development and excess traffic.

Safe Streets: Crime is down, but not enough. A single crime is one too many - especially if you're the victim. I'll make certain that both police and fire officers have the tools they need to keep Redondo Beach safe.

Improve Quality of Life: We must continue to provide outstanding recreational programs to maximize public usage of our parks, harbor and open spaces. My success in establishing the Redondo Beach Dog Park shows I can work within City government to achieve improved public facilities.

Above all, I promise to work hard and always be available.
