Born in Washington, DC and grew up in El Segundo, CA. Married with 2 adult daughters. Resident of Claremont for 32 years.

Obtained Paralegal Certificate at UC Riverside (1998). Graduate studies at several colleges and universities, including Claremont Graduate University. Received BA in English from the University of the Pacific.

Currently a Paralegal with a law firm in Claremont. Previously owned the First Street Bar & Grill in the Village. Taught English as a Second Language in Addis Ababa and Harrar, Ethiopia while in the Peace Corps.
