  • Occupation: Retired Corporation Executive

Community Service:
  • Current member (3 years) PVE Planning Commission.
  • Active 15 years in City committee work including Citizens' Financial Advisory Committee for support of Police/Fire/Paramedic services, establishment and renewal of Fire Suppression Benefit District, and review and recommendations of City's finances.
  • Worked in mid-80s with School District on demographic and environmental impact analysis of PV schools.

Commitment:
  • I will continue my dedication to preserve the unique character of our City, support neighborhood compatible construction, protect parklands, assure fiscal integrity, support police/paramedic services, and seek security and safety enhancements.
  • I will listen to residents and believe that full citizen participation and open government strengthen our community.

Background:
  • My wife, Jan, and I are 20 year residents of PVE. Two sons graduated from PVHS.
  • Purdue University: BS/Engineering, MS/Management
  • Career in management and engineering focusing on planning, architecture, design, and system engineering of space systems.
  • Appointed member of the Space and Aeronautics Engineering Board, an element of the National Academy of Sciences.
  • Served on Purdue Dean of Engineering's advisory committee.
