Questions & Answers

1. How do you plan to help the governor in resolving the school funding issue?

I would work to implement the Supreme Court decision, rather than fighting it with endless appeals. Work to bring the Ohio budget crisis under control, talking with Ohio's citizens to explain the problems and the possible solutions. Without a balanced and fiscally accountable budget, nothing else we would like to accomplish will be possible. Within the demands of a balanced budget, work to implement our proposed property tax relief program to respond to the DeRolph decision and to address the increasing property tax bills that burden Ohio's seniors and working families.
