The most important role for the Lieutenant Governor is to be prepared to assume the duties of the Governor should that be necessary.
The most important role for the Lieutenant Governor is to be prepared to assume the duties of the Governor should that be necessary. I will work closely with the transition team to find the most appropriate role for my talents and abilities. I will also be intimately involved in the operations of the Governor's cabinet throughout the administration. I will do everything I can to continue my lifelong advocacy of children's issues, education, and ensuring that all Ohioans have access to quality healthcare. A high priority will be to work towards the passage of Mental Health Parity legislation.
