Position Papers
Smart Growth and Sustainable Economic Development
Urban sprawl is not only hazardous to the environment, but it also hinders economic growth.
Protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Rights of Seniors
We not only need to ensure the long-term solvency of social security and Medicare, but we should also increase benefits for seniors, including prescription drug coverage and assisted homecare.
Improving Educational Opportunity
It is imperative that school funding no longer be contingent on geography (e.g. property taxes). The production of knowledge is a uniquely national issue, and it is critical that educational opportunity be equalized nationwide.
