Questions & Answers

1. What statewide changes would you recommend in voting procedures or mechanisms?

Improve Ohio's elections technology on a statewide basis, because we had the third highest number of defective ballots in the nation cast in the 2000 Presidential Election. Work with the Ohio Legislature and Boards of Elections in each county to improve the integrity of elections, dramatically reduce the errors in elections, and upgrade Ohio's election equipment. Would make uniformity of equipment standards the same from the top down. Would provide state money to counties to accomplish improving and upgrading voting equipment.
