Questions & Answers

1. How do you plan to help the governor in resolving the school funding issue?

As Lt. Governor, I will be a full partner in the Taft Administration and will be available to help on any issue that is a priority # including the school funding.

Governor Taft has done much for primary and secondary education funding in Ohio. Since taking office, Governor Taft has enacted record of levels of spending for primary and secondary education, increasing state aid to schools by nearly 40 percent. Additionally, under Governor Taft's school building initiative, Ohio spends $2 million a day to build and improve school buildings. We will build on the Governor's record of accomplishment in education.
