1. How would you implement your top priority?

Answer from Tyrone K. Yates:

I would support rather than fight the Ohio Supreme Court directions on new ways to fund support for public education. DeRolph I and DeRolph II are touchstones for the leadership work facing the new General Assembly. I will not shy away from persuading Ohio and district residents that we can do more than rank 40th -- the bottom ten among the states in public education support. Is it any wonder Ohio schools often fail to educate our children?

Answer from Sandra Faith Hall:

I have already begun. Since December I have been out in each of the communities that I am asking to allow me to represent them. I have been listening, looking, asking questions, attending community council meetings, acquainting myself with the residents, making myself accessible and available. I have tirelessly been preparing myself to represent the needs of HD33.

Responses to questions asked of each candidate are reproduced as submitted to the League.  Candidates' statements are presented as submitted. Word limits for answers are 75 words for each question. Direct references to opponents are not permitted.

The order of the candidates is random and changes daily.
