Sylvia Munoz Schnopp Political Philosophy

It's Time For A Change.

Your trustees have yet to provide you with a reason to continue the status quo on the trustee board.

They lack the leadership. They lack the responsibility. They lack the business acumen that we need in order to run a $200 million organization.

They lack the fiduciary responsibility that you've entrusted in them. They were asleep at the wheel during these last few months, voting in a $30,000 raise and new contract for a chancellor who did questionable things. They have even given away their own power to the chancellor in the last few years.

As a candidate for Area 5 Board of Trustees for the Ventura County Community College District, I want to change all of that.

I want to ensure that the word TRUST is back in the name TRUSTEE.

Let's start holding the district and the trustees accountable and responsible for using taxpayer monies and providing higher education to residents of Ventura County.

Let's stop the waste.
