To provide students with a multipurpose building/community center for use by students and the Paradise community, shall the Paradise Elementary School District issue up to $400,000 in general obligation bonds at interest rates within legal limits, subject to a detailed project list, a citizen oversight committee and independent audits?"

Summary:
As required by the California Constitution, the proceeds from the sale of the bonds will be used only for the construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation or replacement of school facilities, including the furnishing and equipping of school facilities, or the acquisition or lease of real property for school facilities, and not for any other purpose, including teacher and administrator salaries and other school operating expenses.

The specific school facilities project to be funded are set forth below:

MULTIPURPOSE BUILDING / COMMUNITY CENTER

The multipurpose building/community center at Paradise Elementary School District shall include a multipurpose room.

Arguments For Measure E
Measure E: Benefits both school and community

Paradise Elementary School and community needs a meeting facility that will provide the following:

  • school cafeteria
  • school assemblies
  • eighth grade graduation
  • gymnasium
  • youth sports program
  • receptions, reunions
  • youth baseball auctions
  • 4-H meetings
  • festas
  • after school functions
  • other community events

Measure E: Makes Sense:

Paradise Elementary School District has successfully obtained the following funds:

  • $700,000 California Department of Education
  • $300,000 Stanislaus County
  • $200,000 Paradise Elementary School District
  • $400,000 Donation

In November, your YES vote will provide the remaining $400,000.00 and will benefit both Paradise School and Community.

Vote YES on Measure E to benefit our kids and community!
