Education
1. Special Programs to help children with autism and other mental problems:
  • We should support the programs in our communities that provide assistance for these individuals.
  • We should add training for law enforcement agencies to help them recognize these needs.
  • We should support the parents to help them get the information they need to deal with this every day challenge.

2. Helping our teachers by giving them the support they need.
  • An increase in teachers salary to be compatible with professional wages
  • An increase in per pupil spending in the classroom. Example: Textbooks and general materials.

3. Early Prevention for children that may have learning disabilities.
  • Many children show signs at very young ages. Most school systems will not consider testing until they are a year or more behind. Teachers say that kids learn the most in the first three years of school.
