Those who refuse to change with the times will no longer be leaders...

By Felix J. "Phil" Miranda

Candidate for State Senator; District 40

This information is provided by the candidate
For any candidate running for public office today the challenge is cleaning up the mess left by his/her predecessors...
To be sure we are in a time of unavoidable sweeping reform throughout this Country and that includes our California State. Any candidate running for office today should realize that it is no longer going to be a free ride anymore. They are going to have to earn their keep. Long time bureaucrats realize this and shake their heads and throw up their hands. Why? They are trapped in an archaic morass of conflicting bureaucracies that no longer truly serves their intended or original purposes. As a candidate I make no pretense of having all of the solutions or even being up to date on ALL of the complex issues facing us as a State and Nation for not one individual does. This is why I am calling on all who read this to vote for me in November. I am like a blank canvas; whatever picture is painted will be up to you. For you are the ones who can most effect the positive changes we need in our local government and throughout the Nation as well. It is a matter of public record how much I despise special interest groups who feel that with enough money their shortsighted policies and ideas will make this State a better place for the rest of us. NOT! There is one and only one 'special interest' group I will cater to -- YOU the people. That being said here is a list of some interesting links for various websites that has much information on many of the complex issues of our day as well as many suggestions for solutions. I hope you enjoy some of these sites and join with me in a people's think-tank on how we can face and deal with many of the woes in our society and of our times. If you would like to donate some money so I can get some more exposure in the local media you can send me money through paypal and sent to my e-mail address at paxzenar@yahoo.com Thank you for your support. Please take care, be safe and see you all in November.
