Michael Metti is a private citizen running for the State Senate as a Libertarian. He knows that he has got a big challenge in front of him, especially considering that he will not accept money from any special interest group. But he feels our State needs a change in direction from big "special interest" run government and that this can only happen when people vote outside the two party system, for candidates who refuse to be owned.

As a Libertarian, he thinks that our government should focus on protecting our rights and securing our borders. Not redistributing our money, playing doctor with our health, educating our children or determining what values we should live our lives by.

Libertarians also believe that the free market is one of the greatest assets this country has. It brings out charity, creative ideas, affordable products and rewards those who work hard and aspire to achieve. Government on the other hand is impersonal, inefficient and costly as a dispenser of goods and services. That is because govern ment was designed to protect us from force and fraud from others and securing our borders.

If you desire government to do more than that, please continue to vote for the two major parties, growing government has consistently been proven to be their special ty. But please keep in mind that whatever you desire the government to do outside it's intended limitations will be subjected to politics. That means that logic and sensibility are dismissed and special interest groups will politic to achieve what will get passed by career politicians.

If you agree that government is out of control then the Libertarian Party maybe your best and only choice. If you are fed up with career politicians and special interest groups running your life, consider voting Libertarian. It is the only way to wrestle our government away from the choke hold that special interest groups have over career politicians. Please vote Libertarian to restore our lost liberties so that we can live as a free and responsible society once again.
