Candidate for United States Representative; District 40

UN-DO the mess created by federal government's involvment in local education.
I will not be seeking the position of Congressman. I want to be the FIRST UN-Congressman for this new 40th Congressional District. The problems of next two years, in fact the next two decades, can not be addressed by what we can DO. They can only be addressed by what we MUST UN-DO.

In the 1950s the major discipline problem in our High Schools was students running in the halls. Then Republicans and Democrats (I like to call them DOERS) did look into the problem. Over the years the DOERS have increased budgets, hired consultants, conducted surveys, employed psychologist and added new layers of administration. And what is the end end result of all this DOING? Now, the major discipline problem is students RUNNING GUNS in the halls.

Let's take the job of teaching our kids out of the hands of the political DOERS. Let the teachers do the job that they would really like to do. Let them do the job that attracted them to the field of education in the first place. Allow teachers to teach, and see a marked improvement in the level of learning. If you have doubts, ask the teachers.
