Fiscal Conservative-

Assemblyman Dennis Hollingsworth has proven to be a champion for California's hard-pressed taxpayers, bringing a much-needed fiscal conservatism to a spending-drunk legislature.

Hollingsworth has tirelessly fought against government waste and inefficiency, and led the opposition to Governor Gray Davis' $1.2 billion dollar tax increases.

Faced with a $14 billion deficit of their own making, Sacramento's liberal Democrat majority can count on the unyielding opposition of Assemblyman Dennis Hollingsworth to their irresponsible demands for massive tax hikes.

He is "the man the liberals fear most," in Sacramento--and with good reason. When it comes to protecting our family budgets, we can count on his uncompromising opposition to waste, mismanagement and fraud.

Education-

We spend more and more, and yet, precious few of those dollars are filtering through the layers of bureaucracy and making into our children's classrooms.

A strong voice for accountability in our schools, Dennis Hollingsworth believes we should reward teachers who excel and make it easier to bring order to our classrooms by removing disruptive students.

Despite opposition from the "blame America first" crowd, Dennis Hollingsworth has authored proposed legislation to require our children to study the U.S. Constitution in school, so that they can appreciate the price of freedom.

And for those who proudly serve in our United States Armed Forces, Dennis Hollingsworth has sponsored legislation to permit Americans in uniform serving in California to attend state schools at in-state tuition rates.

Traffic-

There's no secret to solving our traffic problems--use the gas taxes we currently pay to build more highway lanes. But for years, the liberals have used highway funds for spending other than highways. That's why Dennis Hollingsworth pushed to place Proposition 42 on the March ballot, which, if passed, will dedicate all gasoline taxes to highway construction and other transportation uses.

Safe Borders-

Now more than ever, California must work with the Federal Government to strengthen its borders. That's why Dennis Hollingsworth has called for better cooperation with federal border control officers to enforce our nation's immigration laws, closing dangerous loopholes while preserving our citizens' freedom to travel. He has also co-authored anti-terrorist legislation that would assist in the tracking and prosecution of terrorists in California.
