Candidate for
United States Representative; District 24

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area.

I attended the Webb School in Claremont, California, where I graduated 3rd in my class, with a GPA of 3.92.

I attended the University of Southern California. I was one of ten freshman accepted into the school of Cinematography. I also attended University of California at Santa Cruz, Ventura Community College and Oxnard College.

In 1984 I married my wife, Maria Teresa. She had left her home in Mexico to seek a better life in the United States. She brought her five small children, whom we raised together. Since then we had two more children and five grandchildren.

I worked many jobs, including being a manager at every Bob's Big Boy restaurant in Ventura County. After more studying and training, I made a career move to computer programming, working on the MacInTax program for Softview, Inc. of Camarillo. When that company was acquired by a San Diego firm, I found work in several local software companies. I also worked at home as an independent contractor, where I was able to care for our small children.

I voted Republican until the infamous "read my lips" debacle. Realizing that most politicians were saying one thing and doing another, I decided that the Libertarian Party was the only political party that truly represented my ideals.

My goal is to restore the American dream by demonstrating and explaining that more government is not the answer, but that less government is the answer.

I am a regular contributor to groups that support the disadvantaged, such as Special Olympics and Paralyzed Veterans of America.

I also support Greenpeace and the NRA. I support every one of the amendments of the U.S. Consitution, especially the Bill of Rights and I make no apologies for any of them.

I attend the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Camarillo. I rely soley on Divine intelligence for my health and safety.
