Our nation stands challenged in this new century. We have been tried and tested and now we stand united with one voice. This is not the time for the usual politics, or the usual politician. It is time for Americans to believe in their leaders # leaders who understand the plights of working people, who understand the needs of growing businesses, who understand and value the needs for our defense and care for our future. I believe in America and will stand to ensure our continued growth and security.

I will serve "We the People in order to...

Form a more perfect union... End partisan politics and concentrate on the nation's needs, Promote national unity, Encourage fair competition based on merit, not color

Establish justice and ensure domestic tranquility... Reduce the high taxes, Improve job security by protecting business, Strengthen our judicial branch, Provide adequate resources to fully enforce current laws

Provide for the common defense... Support quality spending for the rebuilding of our national defense, Modernize local police forces and the National Guard, Provide adequate funds for research and development to keep the peace, Provide law enforcement with the tools and authority to enforce the law, Support a national three-strikes bill to protect the innocent

Promote the general welfare... Encourage educational excellence with smaller class sizes and less funding restrictions, Standards-based accountability, Protect Social Security and health care, Help preserve the environment, Provide clean and plentiful water, Strengthen local governments

Secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and to our posterity... Bring more jobs to Southern California, Promote innovation by rewarding initiative, Increase opportunities for small business, Support increased retirement benefit programs for employees, Help promote vocational education
