Back to Basics

By Frank Coates

Candidate for United States Representative; District 22

This information is provided by the candidate
It's time for representatives to be for the people and not above them!
If elected, I will fight to reduce government and pass the saving back to our hard working American Taxpayers. Our Government is again over spending. This, on top of the tax cuts given to the rich, is going to create inflation once again. Inflation will drive up interest rates which will bring the already hammered stockmarket (including your retirement accounts) down to it's knees. The only chance of not destroying your retirement accounts is to cut Government, Government spending and repeal the tax breaks for the rich. It's true that new money is needed to fight terriorism. However, this expense shouldn't just be added on top of the budget. Other expenses should be reduced so that there is no additional expense to the taxpayers. Our government does not know how to cut back expenses -- but I do!
If elected, I will start with myself and set an example. I will review the salary, benefits and perks. Anything I'm entitled to that is above that which my votes receive -- I WILL NOT ACCEPT! Then I will ask the other representatives to follow my example. If they won't listen I will visit their districts and see if their voters will listen to me.
If elected, I will do everything in my power to protect your RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS -- because if someone doesn't stand up and fight for you your retirement account is going to be worthless!
