Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Anselm's College, Manchester, N.H.

Graduate Degree from the Thunderbird (the American Institute of Foreign Trade)

Family includes wife, Sue Ellen, a past 12 year member of the Petaluma Health Care District Board of Trustees and adult daughters, Molly (age 25) and Abigail (age 22)

Civic/Public Service background:

· Within the first year of moving to Petaluma, appointed to the Parking and Business Improvement Area Committee (AB103); work of AB103 led to the construction of the Keller Street parking garage and other improvements in the downtown business district.

· Served on the first Petaluma Tree Committee, physically planting trees in downtown Petaluma. Currently serves on Tree Committee.

· Served on the committee to study and initiate bicycle paths and access and study the Corona Reach Specific Plan.

· Served several terms as a member of the first Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee (SPARC).

· Served several terms on the Petaluma Planning Commission.

· Currently serving on the Marin-Sonoma Narrow Policy Advisory Committee

· Currently serving on LAFCO, appointed by the City Selection Committee of Mayors and Council members

· Currently serving on Remote Access Network (RAN) Board, appointed by the City Selection Committee of Mayors and Council members.

· Served on the Board and as an officer of the Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce.

· Served on the Petaluma Community Health Foundation Board.

· Lifetime member of the Casa Grande Boosters Club.
