Candidate Statement

By Brenda Manos

Candidate for Board Member; City of Santa Rosa High School District

This information is provided by the candidate
My qualifications as presented in the Voter's Pamphlet
It is my desire to make education the highest priority in our schools. I believe in a governing body that is solely dedicated to the students of our district and not to its own agenda. I feel that my diverse and extensive experience as both a parent and volunteer in the Santa Rosa City School District will benefit this board.

As a retired nurse, mother of 4 and a grandmother of 12, I am definitely qualified for this position. I believe that I have a unique yet open-minded attitude and this, combined with my commitment to the education and welfare of our children, will be a positive influence in our schools and community.

For the past 13 years, I have been a member, secretary and President of the Parent Teacher Club of the elementary, middle and high schools. I have served as a member of numerous boards and committees as well as having been a tutor and a volleyball coach.

My life is dedicated to the future of our children, and I am looking forward to serving them and you as a member of the Santa Rosa City Schools Board.

Thank you for your support.
