Sonoma needs more affordable housing.Among the candidates for City Council, there is no doubt that I have taken the lead as an affordable housing advocate. While working for the military, most Commanders said, "bring me the problems, but if possible help me by recommending the answers." So, let's talk answers: 1. The City must buy land in and around Sonoma to house all of its citizens. 2. Local government must join in partnerships and seek State and Federal grants for building affordable housing. 3. We need local land owners to sell or donate land to the City for this type of housing. |
