I am a third generation Petaluman growing up in east Petaluma as a member of an agricultural and business family. My husband Jerry and I have three daughters, Haley age 24, Rebecca age 22 and Olivia age 17.

After having three children I decided to pursue my goal of becoming a dental hygienist. In 1992 I graduated from Cabrillo Community College with honors as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Soon after graduating I became involved in Petaluma Politics'.

I was elected to the Petaluma City Council in 1998 and have served on the planning commission, music, park and recreation commission and the airport commission. I am a current member of the Association of Bay Area Governments Regional Planning Committee. I am the immediate past President of the North Bay Division of the League of California Cities representing, Sonoma, Solano, Marin and Napa Counties including 31 cities.

In the past four years as your city council representative I have provided and honest and effective approach to conducting city business. The principle of respect is foremost in all my council decisions: respect for you, your tax dollars and our community.
