Candidate for
City Council; City of East Palo Alto

This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

WILLIAM C.WOODARD

Occupation: Fire Captain

Education and Qualifications:

I moved to East Palo Alto in February of 1990 after living in Palo Alto. This City offered my wife and I a new home that we could afford to purchase and raise our children. Since that time I have been involved with various projects in the community. I have assisted in the formation of two Charter schools in this Community and served as on the Board of Directors and Site Council President of one, Homeowner Association Vice President and President. I have served on the Public Safety Commission during a time of turmoil between East Palo Alto Police and County Sheriff department. I serve in a ministry at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, and have Coached Little League baseball. I have seen the "best of times and the worst of times" to date in this Community. I have walked the streets and ridden with the Police Department.

I feel that it is time for me to serve the Community in a larger forum, I feel that I bring a strong work and integrity ethics to this Community, and open minded to the Past and the Future dreams of the Community.

I humbly ask you for your support.
