Work experience is relevant to the Office of City Clerk

By Terri Cook

Candidate for City Clerk; City of Belmont

This information is provided by the candidate
My 18+ years of experience in a related government agency are relevant to this position.
I have over 18 years of experience as an administrative assistant with the San Carlos School District in a variety of offices. I regularly interact with the tax-paying public. Many of the skills gained from this position can apply to the office of City Clerk.

The City Clerk is often called upon to demystify the processes of government services, both local and regional. I am familiar with helping people find their way through these processes. It's important that the public have a positive experience as it finds its way through what sometimes appears as a complicated web of government bureaucracy. I enjoy helping people with this.
