Working for SENSE on the DOLLAR

By Gordon Hensley

Candidate for Director; Los Osos Community Services District

This information is provided by the candidate
I have consistently represented everyone fairly and equally, treating all with dignity and respect.
My first term has been a tremendous learning and growing experience. Our community has accomplished a lot but much that I had hoped to accomplish remains to be completed. This is a critical election for Los Osos and our community faces some difficult and pressing challenges in addition to paying for a sewer. Chief among these challenges will be finalizing our Habitat Conservation Plan; major maintenance to our water system, compliance with new storm water regulations, and providing adequate funding to maintain the level of service provided by South Bay Fire Department. At the same time, the CSD is struggling to find community parks and recreation opportunities.

The solutions to all of these pressing issues will impact our pocket books. Right now it is essential that our CSD address these challenges in a levelheaded, realistic, and responsible manner. My personal integrity, record of fiscal responsibility, and concern for the environment and well being of our community speaks for itself. I believe I still have a contribution to make on the Board.

I look forward with hope and confidence to continued public service as your CSD Director.
