I am a second generation Stocktonian, graduating from St. Georges Elementary School, St. Mary's High School, SJ Delta College and received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo. Professionally, I hold state licenses as an Architect, B-1 General Contractor, Life/Health and Variable Products and a Registered Representative with the Security and Exchange Commission. My wife Joyce and I have 2 adult sons and 1 step-son. I have long been active in many community activities. A member of Stockton Delta Rotary Club for 23 years, serving as President in 89-90 and the perennial Chairman of the "Deep Fried Asparagus" at the Asparagus Festival for the last 14 years. We are the single largest volunteer group. I also acted as the volunteer coordinator for both of the Alex G. Spanos Wings over Stockton Air Show, managing over 3600 workers.

I am a board member/Council representative for the City of Stockton on the following committees: Budget/Finance; Audit; Midtown Policy Advisory; Council of Goverments; Parks and Recreation; Children's Museum; JPA for Cal/State Stanislaus; Water; SJ Area Flood Control; Community Separator; Water Front Tast Force; SJ Ground Water Bank Authority; Stockton & Stockton Unified School District Joint Committee and Stockton & Manteca Unified School District Joint Committee.

In the community, I participate in the following organizations: Stockton Delta Rotary; Italian Athletic Club; Liguri nel Mondo; Sister City Association; Pacific Italian Alliance; Stockton Beautiful; Mary Graham Children's Shelter; Downtown Comeback Club; Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce; Delta Lead Club; Chamber Business Lead Club; Asian-American Chamber, Mexican-American Chamber, African-American Chamber; Filipino-American National Historical Society; Child Abuse Auxillary; Club Italo Americano; Federated Republican Womer's Club; Society of Architectural Historians; The Haggin Museum; The Yosemite Club and San Joaquin Pro Life Council.
