Economic Development - Job Generation: With the development of Tracy's first High-Tech Business Park location, the recruitment and placement of a number of companies is a top priority. Local jobs will continue to support and meet the goals of the City's Urban Management Plan. The increase in local jobs will have a significant upside to our community: fewer commuters traveling to the bay area, higher paying positions, spin-off support companies creating additional levels of employment opportunities, positive social impact through short commute/drive times to work, increased family time, and opportunities for community involvement.
