Dr. Michael Dinnel's Position on Various Issues

By Michael L. Dinnel

Candidate for Council Member; City of Vista

This information is provided by the candidate
Ending Fisical Mismangement of the Downtown Area and basic needs such as lighting. Decrease use of Consultants.
I would like to clean up the "Dirt Patch" of downtown Vista and complete the Renovation project.
I would like to stop the Shadowridge and Business District Special assessments.

We need to decrease the City's reliance on "consultants" that are costly and rarely productive.

It is time to look into the possiblity of the City of Vista being divided into four districts so that all the citizens can feel that they have a voice.

Provide better access for the citizens of Vista to contact their City Council members.
Work to insure that basic health, shelter, food and clothing is available.

Work with the Vista School District to insure that our children have safe schools to attend.
Renew programs that will teach solid vocational skills such as automechanics, woodworking, hairstyling and etc.

I will work hard to be accessible, to listen, and to do the kind of job that you have a right to expect of me.
