High Academic Standards - MAURICE CLOUTIER supports the high school exit exam and the use of testing data to further improve our curriculum and teaching methods to ensure a 100% pass rate and greater numbers of students moving on to higher education.

Politically Neutral Curriculum - MAURICE CLOUTIER is the only Governing Member speaking out against the politicization of the curriculum & textbooks by the bureaucrats in Sacramento.

Discipline & Safety - MAURICE CLOUTIER wants teachers to have greater ability to discipline disruptive students and he supports maximum penalties for students who threaten the safety of others.

Respect - MAURICE CLOUTIER is both a private sector manager and an employee, so he understands the aspirations of both management and employees. He does not tolerate bias against staff, teachers, or management.

Individualized learning - MAURICE CLOUTIER strongly supports the unique educational opportunities the EUHSD provides, especially at Center City and Valley High. Your children are unique. We must continue to treat them as so.
