  • Mardi Wormhoudt has served the Santa Cruz community for over twenty years and was first elected to the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors in 1994.
  • From 1981 to 1990, she sat on the Santa Cruz City Council and was elected Mayor three times, serving as Mayor after the 1989 earthquake.
  • She is the mother of four grown children, three of whom live in Santa Cruz.
  • Mardi currently serves on the Regional Transportation Commission, LAFCO, Cultural Council Board of Directors
