Vision for the future

By Jane Meyer Kennedy

Candidate for Council Member; City of Campbell

This information is provided by the candidate
I believe that Campbell is a very special place to live, work and raise our children.

I think this special place can be enhanced

I want our downtown to extend from the Community Center with the Theater to the prune yard.

I want Light Rail to be moving through Campbell down to Winchester, carrying many new shoppers and bringing new businesses into our city. I want to see Campbell residents using Light rail to move through the county. It will only take 16 min to the downtown San Jose Arena.

We have a small cohesive community, with great neighborhoods, updated and active parks for all are residents. We are in a working partnership with the county to plan the renovation of the County park adjacent to the creek trail to make it more useable and inviting to our residents. There is also a Dog Park in this plan for our resident dogs. We have been working to enhance the areas along the light rail corridor. This has and will give us some needed Livable community areas along Light Rail Line in Campbell and will also give many people an opportunity to come to Campbell To enjoy our downtown Area
