Armando has lived in Milpitas for over 24 years. He attended local public schools including Randall Elementary School, Rancho Middle School and Milpitas High School. He holds a Bachelors degree from Santa Clara University. A husband and father, he and his wife, Bernadette, have been married for six years. Their two sons, Joshua and Vincent, are ages 1 and 4.

Armando is a charismatic and energetic leader. Throughout his life and professional career, Armando has demonstrated a passion for public service.

Since 1998, Armando has served in the public sector. His experience includes Budget Analyst for the Board of Supervisors and Special Assistant to the Ethics Commission. Currently, as Senior Policy Analyst for the City of San Jose, Armando has earned a reputation for ensuring that residents get the kind of attention and resources from City hall that they deserve. Armando's City Hall accomplishments include homework center funding for schools, park and trail improvements, youth center construction, transportation improvements, and ensuring public projects are delivered on time and within budget..

In addition to extensive experience in the public sector Armando has stood out as an active member of our community. Having served as a Library Commissioner, Board Member to the Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of the Robert Randall Parent Teacher Association, member of the Children and Families First Commission, member of the Silicon Valley Rapid Corridor Committee, and Milpitas Rotarian, Armando has consistently demonstrated his leadership abilities and commitment in ways that have benefited our community. Armando's extensive background in the public sector and in public service has allowed him to take positions that focus on resident needs and government accountability.
