I graduated from Cal Poly University with degrees in Public Administration and Business Management. I moved to Calimesa in 1983 and have been raising two children here. My wife Laura and I have been married for 21 years. We have a daughter 16 and a son 9.

I started my community service here in 1991 when I founded Graffiti Breakers. I was elected to the City Council in 1992 and served for four years. I was then appointed to the Planning Commission and served for two years. I decided to run for office again in 1998 and was elected with the most number of votes to any candidate in that election. I have also served on the City's library commission, public utilities commission, the Riverside County Public Library Advisory Board, the Western Riverside Council of Governments, and have been a member of the Riverside Transit Agency Board of Directors for three years where I am presently the first vice-chairman.

My other community service includes volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, Yucaipa Little Theatre, Yucaipa Valley Little League, and my church.

This is a wonderful community for families to raise children in, to retire to, and just plain live in. With your help on November 5th, by voting for me, we can make sure it stays that way.
