As that famous American Popeye once said, "I cans't stands it no more." Having completed his education and now involved in a thriving law practice, Tim Liebaert has found a new challenge to surmount as a candidate for the Jurupa Unified School Board, in Riverside County, California. After his sophomore year at Alta Loma Highschool, Tim enrolled at Army Navy Academy, in Carlsbad California. It was 1983 when Tim was sitting in the barracks watching President Ronald Reagan address Congress in his State of the Union Address. It was during this period of his life that Tim said, "I developed a profound love of my country and my fellow man."

From that point forward, Tim sought to attain an education that would qualify him for public service. Now that he has two children of his own ready to start school, there has never been a better time to get into the game!

Tim's interest in education surfaced at the end of his senior year in highschool. It was 1985, and Tim decided that he would get as much education as possible. This was so, even though he had never known it was possible for him to go to college. "I figure that if I did not know that I could go to college until it was at my doorstep that many other youth feel the same way. We can change this silly notion."

Tim's vision for the Jurupa Unified School District is simple. "The primary constituency to be served is our community's children." As a member of the school board, Tim will establish policies designed to "put the best interests of the children," back into the curriculum.

Tim is dedicated to the formulation of policies to enhance safety and educational opportunities. Tim firmly believes that to improve test scores and increase the number of graduating seniors, educational standards must be established and followed.

As a former Deputy City Attorney for the City Riverside, Tim has first hand knowledge of the mechanics of local government.

Tim has an A.A. Degree from New Mexico Military Institute, a B.A. Degree in Political Science from Loyola University, a Law Degree from Western State University College of Law and Masters Degree in Energy & Environmental Law from Tulane University.
