QUESTION: What do you think will be the most challenging issue for the Healthcare District in the next decade, and how should the Board prepare to face that challenge?
The District's most challenging issue has been and no doubt will continue to be the limited access many of our residents have to timely, affordable healthcare. While this remains a national quandary, the District Board will continue to explore and implement, on its own and through other organizations, innovative means by which such access can be expanded and improved to the benefit of all of our citizens.
