If elected to the Board of Education, some of my goals will include

  • Supporting our Superintendent and his team
  • Assisting our teachers in creating effective curriculum
  • Increasing and updating classroom technology
  • Affording all children maximum opportunities by supporting diversity of programs (K-12 Academics, K-12 Performing & Fine Arts, 7-12 Athletics
  • Ensuring all high school students every opportunity to succeed in exit exams and earn a high school diploma
  • Striving for a teaching staff that is fully credentialed and, where applicable, having teachers teach in their major
  • Supporting a competitive salary and benefits schedule for all employees

My knowledge and experience could assist in maximizing potential revenues. This includes
  • Effective use of general fund monies
  • Efficient use of bond monies to avoid unnecessary expenditures, costly change orders and overruns · Maintaining a strong ending balance
