Council Member; City of Lake Forest

Public Safety

I believe the number one priority of city government is to provide a safe and secure community for its citizens.

Once elected, I will fight to add more police and firefighters, I will oppose and focus on defeating any expansion at Musick Jail, and I will support the addition of more speedbumps in areas that desire them to ensure that are children are safe when they are at play.

Community/Senior Center

I am a strong advocate for the bulding of a joint use community/senior center for all citizens to enjoy. Similar to what was done with the Skatepark, I believe it is wise and prudent to develop the center through a public/private partnership to help offset costs and build a sense of community between business and residents.

Reduce Traffic Congestion

For many years now, residents have been begging for somthing to done with the traffic problems on El Toro Road. I will make reduction of El Toro traffic a top priority and work to improve traffic flow by providing for stoplight coordination, widening lanes if necessary, and working with CalTrans to improve on/off-ramp congestion.

In addition, it is high time we got Alton Parkway completed. We don't want Bake and the Toll Road to become another parking lot like El Toro Road.

No Airport / Responsibile Reuse

I have and will continue to fight any airport at El Toro. Although the issue appears to be over with, we know that it "ain't over til it's over".

I will work with potential developers and the city of Irvine to make sure that whatever is eventually built there does not have a negative effect on our city.
