Because of my strong prudent fiscal philosophy, the council members elected me to represent the city at the following outside agencies: Director, Orange County Fire Authority( provides all fire protection for Westminster); Director, Orange County Public Library( the Westminster library is a branch); Director, West Orange County Water Board; Director, Orange County Regional Airport Agency.

In 1996 and again in 2000, you, the voters of Westminster, overwhelmingly elected and re-elected me to the Midway City Sanitary District Board of Directors because I was able to keep our trash and sewer fees the lowest in the County.

I believe in maintaining and equiping our police force at a level to provide the greatest protection for our residents and businesses. Our crime rate has been declining for the past 7 years.

I strongly support term limits for mayor and council.
