Candidate Statement of Qualifications for Joy L. Neugebauer

Occupation: Executive Director Westminster Museum

Community Volunteer
Director Midway City Sanitary District

I seek your support to work for a community that reflects American and Family values. Community awareness, experience, and integrity are the qualifications I bring to the effort to improve our city.

Working together we can limit city government to its basic function insuring a safe environment for people to live, work, and raise their families.

Top priorities are police and fire protection, affordable water service, timely street and infrastructure maintenance, senior needs, neighborhood park and recreation needs. Focusing on essential services will keep taxes low; creating a positive climate for business to create jobs and bring sales tax revenue to Westminster. The utility users tax must be reduced as promised. I have no pet projects.

Longtime resident, our seven sons were raised and educated in Westminster. Self-employed industrial business/36 years( Ace Tool Company, Long Beach); Bank (Delta Savings)Founder/Director/Treasurer/7 years; Councilwoman/Mayor/ Westminster "Citizen of Year" for volunteer efforts for education, schools, youth, seniors, health and business.

I will continue to represent you conscientiously. I pledge to listen carefully, study each issue thoroughly before making decisions that affect the quality of life in Westminster. Issues change. Joy's integrity never waivers. That is a matter of record.

Your support is appreciated. Call 714-893-0134 with concerns, questions and suggestions.
