Candidate's Position/Philosophy

By George Martin Kornievsky, Esq.

Candidate for Board Member; Irvine Ranch Water District

This information is provided by the candidate
Eliminate wasteful spending; Less government
I, for the most part, adhere to the tenets of the Libertarian Party. To see what "the third party" advocates, please visit the party's website: http://www.lp.org

Upon reflection, I think that most of my constituents would support the Libertairian Party platform.

I cannot stand waste, particularly wasteful spending of my dollars.

I advocate the termination of government-created franchise privileges and governmental monopolies for such services as water supplies. All rate regulation in this industry should be abolished. The right to offer such services on the market should not be curtailed by law.

Pollution of other people's property is a violation of individual rights. Present legal principles, particularly the unjust and false concept of "public property," block privatisation of the use of the environment and hence block resolution of controversies over resource use. I support the development of an objective legal system defining property rights to air and water.
