By Robert L. Henson, Sr.

Candidate for Council Member; City of Santa Ana; Ward 6

This information is provided by the candidate
Open-door policy to listen to the citizens in my community, and address these areas of concern with an open-mind approach.
Being retired allows time to be devoted to an open-door access from the community, and to research problem areas and make determinations for possible solutions.

Not being endorsed by any special interest groups would allow a full commitment to an open-minded objective decision in order to accomplish a real, working solution determined problem areas of the community, and to follow through with budget allocation approvals needed to accomplish the solutions recommended.

Having been a Santa Ana citizen for 41 years, 37 years as a homeowner, and having raised four childrens using the parks and recreation, and public schooling system of Santa Ana, allows first hand experience with past, present and possibly future problems affecting the local community.

Having worked as a volunteer in various community action committees for 36 years I directly participated in recognizing, and obtaining solutions to various problems in the community. Along with my civilian job as a Defense Department Contracts Manager gave me experience in problem solving using step logic procedures and follow up.
