Vote for Jeff to make it happen!
"Our top priorities must be based on input from the community. That is why it is essential for Monterey's Mayor and City Council to be willing to listen to what you have to say. The public participation process, based on neighborhood and local business input, is essential, and I plan to make the extra effort to be available to you, the public. As your council member, I pledge to work to bring common sense, fresh ideas, fairness, and a new voice to our local government."

Jeff Haferman is not a politician, but he is concerned about our community. He is a member of the Old Town Neighborhood Association, and served as its Vice-President from 1998-2002. Jeff has advanced degrees in engineering and analyzes weather satellite images as a civilian for the United States Navy. He is a community advocate, and he agrees with the City of Monterey General Plan that focuses on preserving and enhancing Monterey's natural beauty, historic atmosphere, and local business environment.
