Jay Rosenzweig comes from a family devoted to public service. Following in his family's tradition, he worked on several local political campaigns. Rosenzweig spent his last semester of college as a political intern in Washington D.C.

Rosenzweig graduated with honors from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago (1982) with a Political Science degree. He then moved to the San Fernando Valley, where he has lived for the past 20 years.

Jay Rosenzweig is a California Licensed Private Investigator. The majority of his work consists of representing businesses and individuals on cases involving theft and fraud. He also worked on cases with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office and the State of California.

In 1995 Rosenzweig was named "Investigator of the Year" by the 1,500 member California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI). He served on their Board of Directors from 1991-1999. He was their President from 1997-1998 and Chairman of the Board from 1998-1999. In addition, he has been influential in CALI's political lobby in Sacramento, representing the interest of over 25,000 employees statewide. Rosenzweig has been personally responsible for changing several laws involving licensed investigation.

Active over the years with local service organizations, Rosenzweig helped raise money for Haven Hills Shelter for Battered Women and Children and The Pacific Lodge Boy's Home in Woodland Hills. He is a member of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association and has volunteered with their "Blanket the Homeless" program. Rosenzweig is also a member of Valley Vote.

Jay Rosenzweig is married to Lisa Rosenthal, a Woodland Hills Consumer Credit Attorney. They have three children, ages eight, six and one. The Rosenzweig family are active members of Temple Aliyah in Woodland Hills.
