Rationale for electing me, Dr. Anderson, as your city councilpeson

By Andrew W. Anderson, Jr.

Candidate for Councilmember; Proposed City of San Fernando Valley; District 1

This information is provided by the candidate
Experience, character, temperament.
I have many years of experience as an Air Force Officer, a school administrator, a public servant (volunteer in city government for more than 20 years}, a husband (maybe most important of all} a father of 3, all of whom attended LA schools. I directed, at the request of the then supt., the last successful tax/bond election for the LA Schools, thus, I know government, I know schools, and I am thoroughly familiar with how to get things done in the district, and in the city. I have served on State committees, on city committees, and on school district committees that worked to make the administration of both the school district and the city work effectively. I suggest to you that my long and effective experience in the school district and in city government support will make me an effective and successful councilmember for District # 1 in the new Valley city.
