City Budget Reform

By Pete Mac Roberts

Candidate for City Council Member; City of South Lake Tahoe

This information is provided by the candidate
Reform City Budgeting proccess to include short and long term goals
It is time for a change. Our current City Council has not addressed the current and future needs of our citizens. Short and long term planning and forecasting has not been effective in programming for the near future. A strong, experienced City Council, planning for the future and targeting Expenses and Income is needed. New ideas, new thinking and new Council Members are necessary. Now is the time to elect for the future, not rely on the past and past methods to control our growth and economy. I have been involved with budgets in the millions of dollars, 5 and 10 years in advance. I have had responsibilities for hundreds of employees. I have the business experience required to lead our city to the future. Thank you for your vote.
